Even though I lost them a few times.In this Living Book Ruff is looking forward to his Sunday bone that his master throws and Ruff brings it back.But his master throws it too far and so Ruff's adventure begins! He goes in the ocean, in a cave, and even in outer space and on another planet trying to get his bone! He meets all kinds of font and approximately of them look a little wierd.Lots of gags that are really funny!My favorite one is on leaf 11 when you click on the Earth it spins and you hear people say hello in English and Spainsh. Then you hear a lady say "Hey! Who stopped the planet!?" It's so hilarious!So if you want to find out if Ruff gets his bone. Get this Living Book and find out!

About 100 by my count, plus maybe about 20 phrases.You'll learn how to say a few dozen ENGLISH words with a Bengali accent. (Why did they think we needed to know how to say the word jacket or cola?!)The video pronunciations are irritating and, in my opinion, racist. They have lily white speakers for the visuals while the actual voices are visibly from native Bengali speakers. They in effect dubbed the audio which makes the entire purpose of considering their mouths move unquestionably worthless - the lips frequently do not contest the audio. What was the purpose in by the white actors (who look kind of imbecilic trying to backtalk these words) instead of the real speakers? This really smacks of arrogance on the part of the company that made this software.Some of the words presented aren't even accurate! I had a native Bengali speaker listen to this and she laughed. She said that public just don't talk like this. The words are any completely too formal or they're made up. For model, they take an English word and then add the Bengali pronunciation for "s" in diplomacy to make the word plural. Bengalis don't enter like that and they don't talk like that. If you use these words with Bengali speakers they will probably know what you're trying to say, but they'll think you're sweet silly in the way you're saying it.Pros:The software is good at getting you to learn those 100 or so words owing to quizzes.It will work (somewhat) with your iPod.The earlier version of this software was available on Amazon and had countless negative reviews with many of the same complaints I've listed here. Numerous noted how unquestionably silly it was to have so many English words as part of the package. They don't seem to have changed a thing in terms of content. They appear to have just tweaked the boundary and improved compatibility with newer computers and with the iPod.If you want to learn how to say the time of day and a handful of Bengali words then this will work for you. If you're looking to actually learn how to communicate then you'll have to look elsewhere. Unfortunately, there are very few products on the promote for learning how to speak Bengali. The simulations were great and helped me to practice my language skills in a conversational setting.
