National Geographic Trails Illustrated Explorer Colorado 14ers Topograhical Map CD-ROM (Windows or Mac) Shopper Reviews

This is now out of photograph and not supported by the publisher, National Geographic has cancelled all consumer mapping software products. Loads of of the problems additional reviewers mention are doubtless the reasons behind the discontinuation. It would have required a major update to the software and map data to meet the ordinary present smartphone Google Earth users guess. This was subdue a great manufactured goods at the first fee as you deliberate you are getting three different sets of maps and how much vicinity they cover. Tricky copies of the Trails Illustrated maps lonely would be over $50.

Grave bit of software. Pushchair, tricky to use. And everywhere are the trails? I can't discover them, and evidently the before assessor couldn't any. Don't buy, you'll be disappointed.

I bought this CD ROM thinking I would be getting National Geographic Trails Illustrated maps translated on 1:24,000 maps. This is not the explanation. What you actually get is the constant trails illustrated maps as the printed versions (1:40,000), at that calculate as you try to zoom in on them - all the trails expire and you are gone with the standard USGS maps with no trails except what are on the USGS maps. Worse yet, there is no GPX data for any of the TI trails, so you can't send them to your GPS contrivance. I estimate you be inflicted with to draw your own trails, tracing over the TI trail? But again, if you zoom in, at that calculate all the TI trails expire. There are approximately good things in this area this manufactured goods, like the fact with the intention of you get TI maps at all. But thats in this area it. I would rather just buy the waterproof printed copies.
